Job Details: Mental Health Counselor

Description
Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Job duties include, but not limited to: Performing counseling related duties and service facilitation for clients receiving mental health services, Provides or coordinates all services needed for clients seeking mental health counseling and psychiatric services. This includes knowledge of community resources and proper use and referral to Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for Employment and Training. Responsible for entering clients into the APS system for authorization or coordinating these efforts with support staff.
Required to maintain complete accurate client charts on caseload, following Quality Assurance Standards and attend scheduled peer reviews for the purpose of chart auditing and compliance. Performs other related duties as determined.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field with a minimum of three (3) years experience as a counselor. Must be licensed by the State of Georgia as a LCSW, LPC or psychologist. Must be able to handle a caseload of 25 to 30 clients and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
Commensurate with Training and Experience
